ARTHOUSE.NYC is all about color and if our past event at the Angel Orensanz Foundation is any indication, then our holiday season is guaranteed to be a kaleidoscope of light and cheer. We produced the recent Charles and Lynn Schusterman and ROI Community's Reality on The Road on the LES. Orensanz, the Instagram of the brick and mortar, makes all events within their walls breathtaking and beautiful. Our team provided flawless staffing, catering, AV and decor services. Pint-sized artists and anime lovers packed our Tribeca location with Misako's Manga Mania Art Show featuring the very colorful artwork of her students. ARTHOUSE.NYC was on hand to facilitate an afternoon of an adorable anime exhibition, kids making art and a whole lot of pocky. What's not to love? PHOTOS: John Mazlish
ARTHOUSE.NYC brought together 35 artists to exhibit stunning new work for the 3rd Annual Autumnal Digital Art & Photo Fair, a lively event featuring retro sounds of The Sunnyside Social Club.
ARTHOUSE.NYC marked the passing of very much loved architect artist & sculptor Behrooz Nournia with a exhibition in Chelsea. His name and work in lights on the Big Screen Plaza at The Eventi Hotel next door. We created a series of screens in honor of Behrooz, featuring his artwork & philosophy, a very fitting tribute indeed.
Last week ARTHOUSE.NYC proudly hosted Smile Train Young Leadership Circle, exhibiting photos from a recent trip to Columbia where they aided young children born with cleft. The exhibit featured beautiful photos of jubilant children who have had their lives dramatically changed by the wonderful work that Smile Train does. A surgery to correct a cleft palate only costs $250. Get on the Smile Train and support them today (www.smiletrain.org).
We mourn the passing of Lesley Rattner. Lesley was a dear friend and business associate who lost her battle with cancer late last year. With an endless love for color, Lesley was instrumental in supporting and establishing ARTHOUSE.NYC gallery in Tribeca. Lesley was the president of Mixed-Up Mosaics Commercial, a design company that specializes in mosaic art. She was a fearless business person, a great friend and never took "no" for an answer. She touched so many people and was a tremendous inspiration to me personally. Lesley will be very much missed, RIP. Please consider making a donation to: Angiosarcoma Awareness Inc. in Lesley's name.
World's greatest centerpiece if I say so myself.
These people have seen the original cast of Cats ... this better be good.

Our summer started out with a blast with Planned Parenthood's Summer, Sex and Spirits. The epic event helped to raise funds for Planned Parenthood, while the open bar and live acts kept the crowd entertained all night long. Highlights included naughty balloon art from the amazing Mistress B, a fabulous silent auction and raffle, photo booth, all-gendered bathrooms, music by Sabor & the Afro-Latineers, DJ Mursi Layne, Olive T, and the Hudson Horns playing alongside the crowd and keeping the energy level sky high.

Join French Photographer Rémi Salva as he documents his travels all around America, in the pursuit of all of her hidden treasure. He is fascinated by the natural landscapes, their immensity and the power of mother nature, but also by the human and his abilities to challenge the nature, making those huge buildings and bridges, always longer, higher, bigger. He has done a series of road trips to get lost on purpose, discovering the most incredible things, the unknown, the forgotten and abandoned side; “it was as I was traveling back in time and visiting the glorious America of the 60's-70's”. During his journeys, he realized that we do not see all the beauty of the world that surrounding us. When we are in our daily routine, our focus is on our work, our problems, so we don’t even pay attention about the world living.
